

In 2024, an unexpected referral led to an exciting opportunity for me to join Gro Agency's new TikTok Shop department.
How it started
Working with Gro Agency didn’t come into mind until Casey, a client I worked with while working with Dragonfly put in my name and referred me to Gro. The agency had just started their Tiktok Shop department and they needed someone who already knows how to work with the platform or someone who could display a willingness to learn with them. This became one of the best opportunities I came across with in 2024!
Our Milestones
In a year, we’ve worked with over 10 clients. Not bad for a new platform we’re offering a premium service for!
• We’ve established SOPs and created protocols from client acquisition to training new VAs who come on board.
• We became a Tiktok Shop Partner - This one is not easy to come by, there are certifications that we need to submit and pass before we become a certified Tiktok Shop agency partner.
• We’ve established a lot of key elements on how to succeed with Tiktok shop - especially when it comes to working with creators and getting them engaged enough to keep working with the brands we represent.
And more
• While growing the Tiktok team is essential, I’m beyond thrilled that they’ve continued to work with me and even hire my sisters!
• The Tiktok shop channel is continuously evolving and the team at Gr0 continues to evolve as well. Our learnings have gone beyond massive gifting and our creators are engaged, excited to work with us.
What’s next?
• More clients of course!
• Updated training materials, of course. This is on me. I didn’t know that starting out with a few brands while working with Dragonfly could lead to this awesome contract where I am continuously challenged, engaged and excited to try new things.
• PS. Navigating through the different deadlines regarding the Tiktok Sale. We can't have another 30 minute blackout for sure!
